"North Texas is the ideal environment for my companies," said Beatriz Manetta, president and CEO of No. 1 Argent Associates Inc., which posted an annual revenue of $301 million. "Like us, everything here is always evolving and changing. There are many opportunities to grow our business and a great environment for our employees to have and raise families. There are also a ton of organizations here that support small, diverse businesses."
And she's not alone. The remaining companies on our list echoed her sentiments over and over again, expressing gratitude at the opportunities afforded and reaffirming their commitment to the area.

Methodology
Launched by Southern Methodist University's Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship in 1990, the Dallas 100 is a tribute to the vitality and entrepreneurial spirit of the emerging business community in North Texas. As in years past, the companies honored in 2014 have made significant contributions to the area by generating jobs, increasing the tax base and fostering North Texas' reputation as a premier economic development center.
